Ace filmmaker Karan Johar-hosted show 'Bigg Boss OTT' was the most popular reality show in the OTT space. The show had many popular celebrities like Shamita Shetty, singer Millind Gaba, TV actor Raqesh Bapat, Pratik Sehajpal, and Divya Agarwal locked in the house. Following the stupendous success of the first season, the makers are coming back with its second season. As fans are excited and curious to know who will be hosting the new season, we have got an update on this.
According to the latest reports, Ranveer Singh has replaced Karan Johar as the host for Bigg Boss OTT 2. Surprised right! The recent buzz has it the Simmba actor has been finalized as the host for the second season of the reality show. A source close to the development revealed that the makers are finding it difficult to get dates from Karan Johar, who is currently busy with his upcoming show ‘Koffee With Karan 7’. The insider was quoted saying, “Makers have started working on the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. As they couldn't get dates from Karan Johar, the makers have finalized Ranveer Singh to host the show. He has earlier worked for the channel for another reality TV show, ‘The Big Picture." While KJo is a pro at hosting reality shows, Ranveer made his TV debut as a host with Colors TV reality show ‘The Big Picture' last year.
Meanwhile, talking about Bigg Boss OTT 2, popular television actors like Kanchi Singh, Mahesh Shetty, and Pooja Gor will be seen in the second season. Actress Sambhavna Seth and Lock Upp’s Poonam Pandey are also in talks for the show. The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was won by Divya Agarwal. Chorographer Nishant Bhatt emerged as the runner-up of the show.
